Specialist disability accommodation (SDA) is a range of housing types designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.
SDA dwellings have accessible features to help residents live more independently and allow other supports services to be delivered better or more safely.
Who is eligible for SDA:
- Participants who have an extreme functional impairment or very high support needs
- Participants who meet the SDA needs requirements and the NDIS funding criteria
The SDA Funding in a Participants package goes with the participant not the dwelling.
